“Last year was the first time we offered a virtual tour of a data center at our conference, and it was so popular that we decided to do it again,” said Bob Cassiliano, chairman of the board for 7x24 Exchange. “This year we chose to showcase 365 Main’s San Francisco facility because of its innovative seismic features and impressive N+2 electrical and mechanical designs. We expect the virtual tour to be a big hit with attendees.”
“Being singled out by such a widely respected organization such as 7x24 is a great honor for us, especially given that we only recently expanded beyond our flagship datacenter in San Francisco,” said Chris Dolan, president and CEO of 365 Main. “Our vision is to support the next wave of technology growth on a national level with a smart, patient and sound expansion plan that preserves the quality of our world-class facilities, and this recognition validates the successful execution of that strategy.”
365 Main began with a single data center in San Francisco in 2003 and expanded to Los Angeles, Phoenix and Northern Virginia in June of this year. In each data center the company leases real estate to dedicated hosting providers and large enterprises such as Charles Schwab, Sun Microsystems and Esurance. 365 Main now has nearly one million square feet under management nationwide.
Following the event, the video tour will be available for download from 365 Main’s Web site at www.365main.com
