Leading Architecture University Appoints 365 Main President and CEO
to Board of Directors

Catholic University Architecture Makes Strides to Improve Academic Program

SAN FRANCISCO, CA., OCTOBER 4, 2004 –– 365 Main, the Bay Area’s safest, most secure and reliable critical facility, today announced the appointment of Chris Dolan, President & CEO of 365 Main to the Catholic University of America’s School of Architecture and Planning Executive Development Board. Dolan, an alumni of CUA, accepted the invitation to join the executive board along with more than a dozen other alumni’s and industry leaders.

The new Executive Board will advise the Office of Development and Dean on plans, programs and activities organized to raise private funds to support the school, faculty and future academic programs. The board will also offer professional advice and direction on curricular, internship, accreditation and other general academic matters affecting the University.

“We are extremely proud and honored to have someone of Chris’s stature and leadership on the board.” Says Randall Ott, Dean, Catholic University of America. “The Executive Board is looking forward to his involvement and the industry expertise he will contribute to better our academic programs.”

Dolan and his company, 365 Main, recently supported the University by developing a Undergraduate Design Program encouraging students to participate in a semester long, hands-on workshop to develop more advanced architecture and planning skills before they graduate. The program was implemented for the Fall 2004 semester and is a design competition for the next generation data center. Dolan and other industry leaders were invited as guest lectures to present Architecture: Technology for a New Economy as part of the program kick off. Dolan also hosted a select group of graduate students for the day at 365 Main to tour the critical facility and to hear expert advice on HP’s Smart Data Center program from HP Labs.

“It is both an honor and a privilege to be invited to serve on the Executive Board. With the challenges higher education faces these days, I want to help the University strengthen its architecture programs and academics,” says Chris Dolan, President & CEO, 365 Main. “Developing the design program and working with the students on the challenges of architecture and building was a great experience for myself and for 365 Main. I look forward to contributing to more projects and programs with them.”

Other industry leaders involved in the program included Chandrakant Patel, Distinguished Technologist, Internet Systems and Storage Laboratory for Hewlett Packard Laboratories, David Sukinik, P.E, Managing Principle for EYPMCF, Inc, Geoffrey Cope, P.E, Principle for EYPMCF, Inc and Peter Lee, S.E, Associate Partner for Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Due to the success of the design program, 365 Main will continue to pursue implementing the program with other accredited Universities in the near future.
