365 Main announces head of security for its new
El Segundo, CA data center.

EL SEGUNDO , Jan. 13, 2006 —Chris Dolan, CEO of 365 Main, announced today that Dan Cabrera has been appointed Manager of Security for the new 365 Main facility in El Segundo, CA.

“We have known Dan for many years and are pleased that he has become an integral part of the 365 Main Team,” Dolan said. “We had the pleasure of working with him when the building was originally commission, so it is great to get him back on to familiar territory.”

Cabrera is no stranger to the Data Center world and has been a fixture in the world of security for a many decades. Originally a uniformed officer with the South San Francisco Police Department (SSFPD), Cabrera left after eight years on the force and transitioned into a number of Federal and State security agencies including the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF). Among his numerous responsibilities within the ATF, Cabrera had oversight of Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Island. He retired in 1999 as Senior, Division Operations Manager.  He continues to this day in assisting ATF and other local agencies with security clearance of new agents. His introduction to the data center world commenced when he took over responsibility of the Metro-Media, Above Net facility in El Segundo, during construction.
